Every step must be on the safe side. There's no room for hesitation up here. The freezing air assaults you from all sides and your feet are surrounded by icy snow. In conditions like these, the Asolo Eiger XT boots give you the support and warmth you need up there.
The outer cuff made of Schoeller Soft Shell material and rubber lining around the entire circumference protects the boots from mechanical damage and moisture from the outside. The Gore-Tex membrane also stands in the way. Under the cuff, closed with a waterproof YKK zipper, is a quick-lacing system that can be tightened even with gloves on. Underneath, a Vibram sole with Mont compound for perfect grip even in freezing conditions.
